Fl0yd.streaming is a fan site and Twitch extension for the Fl0yd (xfl0yd) Twitch channel. Viewers turn channel points into site points and use them to press keys, click the mouse and apply filters on stream. This page explains what information that involves. It applies to the website at fl0yd.com and to the Fl0yd Controls Twitch extension.
What we collect
When you sign in with Twitch (on the website or by sharing your identity in the extension) we receive your public Twitch profile: your Twitch user ID, login name and display name. We ask for no extra permissions, so we cannot see your email address, your followed channels or your private data.
Points and activity. We store your points balance, a history of points added (for example, a channel point redemption) and used (for example, a key press), the voice you picked for chat text-to-speech, and the time you were last seen.
Channel point redemptions and chat. We receive redemptions of this channel's "Convert Points" rewards, and messages written in this channel's chat, from Twitch. Chat messages are read out loud by text-to-speech on the streamer's PC. We do not save chat messages in our database, but short parts of them can appear in the server's temporary log files.
In the Twitch extension Twitch gives us an anonymous ID for you and your channel ID. If you choose "Share identity", Twitch also gives us your Twitch user ID so we can find your points. If you don't share it, you can look but not use anything.
Cookies. We set one cookie, fl0yd_session, to keep you signed in. We use no advertising or analytics cookies and no trackers.
How we use it
Only to run the site and extension: to show your points, to charge and refund points when you use a control, to send the action (and your display name, so it can be shown on stream) to the streamer's PC, to show the name of whoever triggered something in stream overlays, and to protect the service from misuse. Your name and what you triggered can be seen by everyone watching the stream. We don't sell your information, show ads or use it for profiling.
Who else is involved
Twitch provides sign-in, channel points, chat and the extension platform, and handles your data under its own Privacy Notice.
ElevenLabs may be used to create the voices for text-to-speech and voice previews. Only the text to be spoken is sent, not your account or personal details.
Our database and server are run by the streamer. Information is only shared if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account and points history for as long as the site is running. You can ask to have it deleted at any time by messaging the streamer on Twitch at twitch.tv/xfl0yd. Once it is removed, your points are lost. You can also stop sharing your identity with the extension at any time from Twitch's extension settings, or disconnect the app under Settings → Connections on Twitch.
Children
The service is for people allowed to use Twitch, who must be at least 13 years old. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Questions or requests: message the streamer at twitch.tv/xfl0yd.
